T.G.I.Sunday!

Brandon has been a complete nightmare this weekend.
Nightmare I tell you!!!
Tantrums every five minutes.
For. No. Reason. What. So. Ever.
I can't get him to eat anything because he is so picky. That is probably why he is so angry, but I refuse to give into the "I just want candy all day" statement.

I think I need a vacation, and that's where my lovely husband come into play.

*Evil grin here*

Gabe is off on Monday's and Tuesday's, so this mama is taking a teeny little break from all the monkey business that goes on in this house. And I'm not kidding one bit either. I am going to put my poor loving husband in charge of everything! Cleaning, diaper changes, timeouts, everything! I know, I feel guilty but SAHM's need breaks too right? Besides I have an excuse. I need to go to the dermatologist tomorrow. Some Vacation huh? Going to the doctor.

Lets see how this turns out. I'm sure it won't fail to be interesting.

  5. Just stopping by from mbc. I took my first solo vacation earlier last month. I was really apprehensive leaving my kids but I really enjoyed myself. It was nice to have four whole days to myself!

  14. Vicki, we are NEVER off--even when we are off! Our brains are ALWAYS thinking about our children or feeling guilt for NOT thinking about our children. Mine are 4, 5 and 7 and I took my first trip sans husband and children at the end of September. I didn't realize just how necessary it was. People had told me through the years that I should do it, but I thought I was fine. I wasn't! I didn't even miss anyone, really--I know that sounds so bad, but it was WONDERFUL to not be touched for four days! Enjoy the dermatologist break!
